Distributed Systems @ UNIFE
Distributed Systems @ UNIFE
Active since 2002, our cross-disciplinary team has been working across various fields, ranging from Big Data, Compute Continuum and Internet of Things (IoT) in Industry 5.0, as well as Digital Twin and Cybersecurity.
The Distributed Systems research group is directed by Prof. Cesare Stefanelli.
The industrial research is carried out by our two labs: Big Data & Compute Continuum Lab and Digital Twin & Cybersecurity Lab.
Polo Scientifico Tecnologico, University of Ferrara
We develop software and solutions from concept to proof-of-concept, while collaborating with industry partners on concrete use cases to develop tailored products and outputs to improve their performance, always keeping an eye on sustainability and safety.
Education and training are pivotal for us, as PhD and thesis opportunities are offered on a regular basis to students of both Departments involved, with the goal of shaping future professionals in response to the ever-growing demands of the IT sector.
We nurture an environment of continuous learning, one where our team members and students are stimulated to grow professionally and personally, gaining a competitive edge in their field.
If you are a student interested in conducting an internship with the Distributed Systems research group, please contact: Prof. Cesare Stefanelli, Prof. Carlo Giannelli, Prof. Mauro Tortonesi, Dr. Filippo Poltronieri.
